But to me, Being a self leader means that I am in charge of myself ! If I don’t do It !No one else will and it does not matter

what it is that I am doing !

Some may say that I am harder on myself then I should be! Others may say that I am lazy ! Well I have found out that those that call me lazy really don’t know me or don’t have the real answers themselves !

I have been called lazy at times and sometimes others were right in doing so, but that was back when I saw the world in a different light or should I say I was looking through blinders not really seeing what I could really do for myself .

As a self leader, I set out to try something I would have never tried before. I started to write a book a story so to speak ! But not just any old book, I wanted to show myself and the world what a average man like myself could do with just a high school education and no real writing skills , using just my mind and the will to complete something that I had started years ago! So that I could show others that if I could do it, so could they !

So I gathered together some friends of mine on a joint effort to start writing a story about our journey into a new world. This was a story I had put off writing years ago back when I was in my twenties , only because I really had no desire at the time to finish it .

At the time I guess you could say that it was just a dream of mine to do something I had never done before . The story was called “The Start of a Dream”. I wouldn’t really realize until some years later just how true that title really was .

But I had no idea at the time how to even begin writing, so I asked for help over and over but only a few were willing to give me the time or the help I needed to finish this book. But after bugging enough of my friends, I did it but only because I wanted to !

No one held my hand and no one really offered any real help other then encouragement , other then to ask how the book was coming along .

So to me being a self leader is being willing to finish what you start whether others are there to help you or not !

Part 1

Part 2:

So with that being said, I’ll tell you what the picture, Lost Paradise means to me. I said the picture is a journey. It starts at the mountain in the back ground. That separates us from the rest of the world.
The mountain is a barrier between the outside world and the civilization of the universe or the c of u. The mountain is just the beginning of the journey for most of us. It was the hardest thing to over come. You see you had to start your climb up the mountain from the other side where you were taught how to live your life and when and how to do the things others wanted you to do!
Let’s just say the mountain represents the climb to escape your past self and the way you use to live. Once at the top of this great mountain you can see for miles as you look out over the land and down on the valley below you can see a calm river. Across the calm river is a forest of trees that goes on for miles towards a small cool running stream with stepping stones that lead into another small forest. Then up to another great mountain, but on top of this mountain is the peace and harmony of being truly aware of who you really are and where you truly own your life. No more outside forces tell you what and when and how to live!
Now remember I said everything in this picture represents something on the journey to the great mountain peace and harmony.
The river represents the chat room where a lot of us played while we learned about the journey we were on. Some skim across it, some took boats so to say on their way to the other side. Some still go back and play there once in awhile!
As you leave the river and make your way into the vast forest of trees and small mountains these represent the great libraries of knowledge that we needed to learn to cross the stream into a whole new way of thinking and for most of us it was the introduction into Neothink®!
Then we made our way across the stepping stones of that mighty stream and into another forest of trees or libraries to learn more new knowledge. We started to make our way up the great mountain where we would learn who we really were and what we could truly accomplish with this new found knowledge .
This great mountain we climbed represents the levels of our great learning to truly become the men and women we were meant to be!
There are many ways up this mountain some would take the easy road and stay to the path. Others would find short cuts or hidden passage ways that would get them to the top faster! Some would take the hard way and scale the side of the great mountain! Not knowing about the path that was already laid out before them. They were still searching for who they truly were and what they could truly become, but they would still continue to climb the great mountain.
This great mountain we are now climbing are the levels of our learning we go through to reach the top and bring about the c of u in not just ourselves but in the world around us for all to enjoy.
As I look back on this great journey, being at the top of this great mountain top I can now see that the journey is not yet over, for the mountain is just the beginning of a whole other journey still waiting to be taken.
I can see as I look back out over the great valley below that I have just crossed, that there is a tunnel that has to be made in that barrier mountain that stands between where I am now standing. The rest of the world still searches to find a way into this Great Paradise that I have reached and boats are needed to bring them a cross that river for those that choose to use them!

I also wish to help them find their way through the libraries, but as I look to the right of the great mountain I see that there is still more that needs to be learned and that there are still great libraries that need to be explored to reach that point in our lives so that we are truly the men and women that we were truly meant to be!

As I sat at my desk looking at the picture I had just drawn it suddenly came to me !I suddenly realized what this picture truly meant: Now those of you that I have had the pleasure to meet with either face to face or over the phone or even in the many chat rooms on the great world wide web, know that I can sometimes really get way out there in my thoughts .

But this is something I have thought about for a couple of years now, I’ll explain to you what I see in this picture here in a few minutes.

First let me say, the picture was first drawn as a idea for a cover for a book I am thinking about writing, so the picture is just another way of telling a story about my own journey into a new way of life. A way of life that I had never really taken the time to stop and see for what it truly is !

You see the title of the picture I call Lost Paradise has a hidden story in it and that story is as follows : as you look at the drawing, look to the top of the picture. You see the great mountain wall. To me that mountain wall is the separation from what I once was and where I am now going in life with a very special bunch of friends from all around the world!

Now remember this, when I was taught to draw I was taught to draw from the top of the page down, the reason for this was to keep your drawing neat and clean but this picture was one that has come to me through bits and pieces over a year ago.

I started it in June of 2008 and just got the whole picture this year. This may be due to the people I had come into contact with just a few months ago who where very gifted in their own talents and arts. These were business minded men and women who have a dream that will not only change their own lives but the lives of so many others in the years to come !

How did I have the pleasure to meet these special people you ask ? Well for the last few years I have spent many long hours on the world wide web chatting with some of them who have helped me see a part of myself that some would not truly understand about themselves!

You see, we are all connected in one way or the other to each other. Through actions and events beyond our own comprehension (Now there’s a big word I would never have thought about using a few years ago).

These friends were at a gathering we’ll call it a meeting of like minded people !

Anyway they showed me what can happen when you get a group like this together in one place for just one weekend! I know that when the weekend was over, none of us really wanted to leave!

We were taught new things about the world around us and better ways to live our own lives. We even had a chance to get to know each other a little better and left with a new hope in the world around us. That is where I figured out where I was meant to be, with these fine men and women .

In part two I will describe the picture Lost Paradise and give you the meaning of the hidden story
